What to wear on Thanksgiving...

Happy early Turkey day!!!!

Good day ladies, for today's blog I just wanted to share some fashion inspirations for cute outfits...
I love wearing something new for Thanksgiving, it's my way of being thankful.
It's a celebration that deserves dressing up. I feel like when I was a kid going to church putting on your Sunday's best dress..
So celebrate in your cutest outfit.
What are you thankful for?
and what will you be wearing?

Here are a few outfits to help you coordinate an outfit. Top right outfit, since leggings are still going add a cute sweater and boots.
You can add large sweaters or Poncho..Walla! remember to add accessories.

Side right. Want to be comfy in jeans, add a cute top and heels. Belt can be optional, heels will change the look to any outfit. Although not pictured here, if you are in cold weather, adding boots to these skinny jeans is definitely do-able, adding a blazer jacket will be a plus.

Side left, love this trench coat, if you have chilly weather a sweater dress and boots can really make you stand out. The trench coat gives you that final look. coordinating accessories will only add to this outfit, you can also layer a scarf and skip on earrings, too much will be too much!!!

Green skinnies, YUP!, color skinny jeans are so fab, it's great for the holidays. What a simple look, yet so cute and fabulous. All she did was add a jacket, leather optional; a scarf, booties and DONE!
Yes, ladies you too can look this cute in a matter of seconds.

Last but not least, if you are still having warm weather like us Californians. Look for a dress with floral print. A skinny belt to make your colors pop, add a cardigan sweater or a cropped jacket. Adding heels to this look, will make you look amazing. Boots can be added to this look keep them short under the knee. You don't want to over kill this look.

Thank you for stopping in this week for fashion inspirations, hope this has helped. Sending you blessings for a Happy Thanksgiving, Enjoy your family, friends and eat lot's of Turkey!!

4 Simple ways to Mix and Match and outfit...

Mix and Match the new trend...

With Fall in the air it's easy to have fun coordinating your outfits.
Have you noticed that matching an outfit doesn't have to be necessary?
Ah yes, I remember the day of matching my jacket with my shoes. (LOL)

The fun thing about trend setting this season is that's playable... So let's begin.

1. Not only is layering in, but adding a plaid shirt with a sweater and jacket...Add this look to jeans or skirt.
Or  add a plain dress with long sleeves, add a sweater, heels and wallaa!!!

The picture below she's wearing a long sleeve denim shirt with a leopard sleeveless dress, tights and brown booties. Talk about mix and match. Too cute!

2.  Stripe it up.. What's so different in this look?. The trend is wearing stripes on stripes. The more dimensions the better. Vertical, horizontal stripes, mix them up and have fun.

3. Look number 3 is "Smart" wear shorts all year long.
That's right ladies.... love shorts???, then add tights and there you go. Adding a sweater or jacket accents your look. Looking super fab and trendy.

4. Look number 4 is SWEATERS....sweaters have always been in but the look this season is to cute, animals, dots, bows, you name it, it's in. Funny but really, mixing is so much in that you just have to join the crowd on this. Don't be afraid to go into your closet pull out an old sweater and add cute jeans, skirt.
Get creative..

Thank you for taking the time to read this weeks blog. Look forward to the coming weeks. The holidays are my favorite...Parties galore!
As always stay classy. Till next time.

Looking good and feeling good...outfits that work for you!

Looking good and feeling good....

Why is it that when we are all dressed up we feel good???
Does our self-esteem rise, do we perform better.??
I know for me, if I'm dressed to impress it's also important to feel comfortable..
" If you feel good, you look good"

Funny isn't it, it you look good you feel good, when the opposite works so much better.
So today let's venture out seeking options...

Looking gorgeous while maintaining class
There is a fine line of being sexy, looking gorgeous and being classy. The old school rules come in play here. In the older days, the school rule was 2 inches above the knee anything higher was unacceptable. "Darling keep it classy not trashy" show respect for your body and this will maintain looking classy.
                 Followed by;

Choose clothes that emphasize your best assets and fit well
That's right ladies, just because you can put it on doesn't mean it fits...Too tight, yeah, major killer. If you can't sit comfortable, bend down appropriately, maybe it can sit in your closet.
Remember this is where "feel good" comes in. I know sometimes you love the blouse the dress, those cute jeans or pretty heels. After 10 minutes of wearing OUCH! is what your body is saying.  If the skirt feels too short, and you’re self-conscious walking around in it and your constantly pulling at the hem, it probably too short.

Go for something longer and strut your outfit without having to adjust. As long as you feel good, you look good – and you don’t need to follow every single fad trend.
          Leading me to my next subject;

Looking great does not need to cost a fortune
Yes, that's right. For many we think I have to spend a lot of money on pricey clothing to look good. Ummm, not really!. Being a single mom I had to learn to cut corner and look presentable, as I started teaching I knew I had to look sharp. I first started at the basics because I like brand name clothes. Ross, Marshall's. Then  I didn't care, so I went fashionable. Cute stuff at Forever 21, Vintage, The Rack, H & M, Macy's outlet..or Clearance rack. Don't be ashamed ladies, looking good has nothing to do with how expensive your outfit is.
At the end of the day it's how you feel, not how much was your outfit.
I get compliments all the time. Sometimes it's a mix and combinations. Do what works...
 Following with;

Develop your own sense of style, and invest in a few quality pieces
Figure out what looks good on you, what do you like, what feels good to wear, and what compliments your personality and body in terms of colours, flow of the clothing, size and fit. Then, experiment! Have fun! Remember playing dress up begins at 5, but truly never ends....
 Heels too tight..Try another pair!

Jeans don't fit, wear a dress instead...

The right fit, and color can make a difference...
Happy outfitting!!!

Lovin' the trenches....Trench coat time!

Lovin' the trenches, Trench coat Time!

Fall is here and so are the new cute Trench and Pea coats.. Have you noticed the look on coats this time around, not your ordinary coat. Designers are stepping it up, for a fashionable affair. So in love, with the coats this season...Take a look!

I was at networking meeting last week, and a lady had a PINK coat, jaw dropping diva. She looked gorgeous, the pink made her look feminine, chic and classy. Very cute look. Here is a similar coat, so far I haven't been able to locate the coat. It's on my task list of importance..lol!
Although Pink might not be your thing, white, tan, neutral colors look very chic! If in doubt wear it. Coats do that, they can take you out of your normal everyday look, and make you look super cute.
Sexy?, yes that too. Both of these coast top left and side right are extremely similar, adding heels, boots and a lovely bag can make all the difference from cute to sexy.

Here is a another neutral color, looking lovely with jeans. This is a straight coat, very simple. As you can see, simple can go along way, no accessories required simply because of the color, Love it!!!!
Don't be afraid to change things up, it can make a difference in your personality too. People view you on looks unfortunately, but when trying to make an impression it helps. If your interviewing, on a date or an event a coat can make an outfit. Have fun this season, draw attention to your new personality, Change is good!!!

To leave an impression on you, BLUE it out!!!!
Mama MIA, sexy, classy, and nobody will get in your way with a coat like this. Enough said, this coat speaks for itself. FYI, Macy's is caring amazing coats this season, if your short on cash checkout TREADFLIP.com, for re-sale and new items.

As always stay classy and chic,
